Flash

The pros of flash is that it adds and also it freezes time and eliminates blur. The cons of the flash are that it may disturb your subject and creates ugly lighting, red eyes, shiny spots and backgrounds come out very dark. flash is a good idea when theres like shadows around.

Metering

Light meter helps capture the light that you want. Like in the top picture i metered from her skin and thats what it got more of that light and on the bottem one i metered from the computer screen so whatever was blue came out more. They are different because of the metering of the light from the blue light to the light of your skin. Metering can help you in the future by putting in the same amount of light.

In the eye photo we took a picture of a vine a brick wall a butterfly and a beach scene kind of thing we made it as if the eye was coming out of the brick wall and then we put the scene in the eye as if thats was what the eye was looking at. then we put some vines around the eye and made it seem as if the butterfly was flying by.

In this photo we got a picture of dirt a lamp post scratches and a jellyfish nebula. we made our own sky by painting it blue and adding some cloudbrushes then putting in the scratches and jellyfish nebula. we got our dirt but it looked to fake so we stretched it out so that it would be big from up close and small from far away. finally we added out lmap post and added a shade to it to make it seem more realistic.

When I was first thinking about ideas for this project I knew I wanted to use my own lyrics/poem and I thought which one was most meaningful and which one meant the most to me. So I picked a poem that I wrote for a family member that passed away. The picture I took is me looking hurt and looking up in heaven for him. I feel it shows best how I felt after reading those words on my photo.

My ideas came from inside like i would just think about what people have told me before and how they feel about me there was really so much more i wanted to express but didnt know how. I am happy with my decisions except for the fact that i didnt use very much expression of me in my outside quilt. My most favorite square was my future because i think it describes best what i want for my future. The least quilt is my outside because i still believe thats not all people see on the outside i think theres more.
