In this photo it is a girl who is sitting down with her leg on top of some bottles of vodka. The bottles are her support and she has lost someone very important to her. There are many pictures of him around theres a gun and shes throwing her life away while he had lost his. Her makeup is running like if she was crying she looks like she had been drinking for a while and she looks very lost and sad. Ive asked her what she felt taking this picture and because it was a real life issue those tears were real. She felt really hurt when i told her to think about holding him in your arms one last time. It especially made her think twice about it about everything shes done.
The issue is how people (teens) grief with drugs and alcohol. When anyone in general loses someone they turn to something to rely on many times its drugs and alcohol. They use it as "support" which is how i formed my photo with her last support being the vodka. This issue means alot to me and i can really relate to it because all around me thats what i see. We lost someone very important to us and alcohol and drugs are what we ran to. Although im going through this all i know how it feels to lose someone and feel you have nothing i have also learned by doing that you lose yourself too. Not only have we been hurting ourself but everyone around us, we could see it in the eyes of our mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers. We knew we would have to make a change.

I like this. I like the effort you put into taking your photo. I think the statement needs to be worked with a little as far as placement and making each word stand out. The "lives" in black gets lost in the image.
